10 Oct WEF at Mondial de l’Automobile (Paris Motor Show)
The WEF team – Alec Arho Havrén (founder and chairman), Risto Rantala (CEO), and Tzvetelina Nikolova (co-ordinator) – visited Mondial de l’Automobile (Paris Motor Show) during the press and industry days October 2-3.
Electrification of traffic has become more and more mainstream thinking which could clearly be seen at the show. The WEF initiative of the Smart Energy Road and Traffic System was presented to some potential EV partners. SERTS aims at becoming a leading integrator and knowledge provider within sustainable energy harvesting infrastructure, and therefore, seeks both energy and mobility partners. Wireless and mobile charging for EVs is a small part of the planned pilot facility.
Vehicle manufacturers were also invited to the WEF Gotland e-mobility event which takes place in Visby and Gotland Ring in June 2015. End of the year, a press release will follow regarding WEF event activities and initiatives in Finland, Sweden, and China.
